little britain

what I love about the Brits is the way they embrace eccentricities, in fact they whole-heartedly encourage it. No worries for tall poppies in this country.

Sometimes the most ordinary things they do catch my eye. I loved this trio who stopped for a thermos of tea in a layby in Devon. It was a gorgeous autumn day and they were near a beautiful fast flowing river overlooked by ancient forest and an old stone bridge with warm rocks to sit on. So they sat in the car park - but not in the car, oh no, no, no. On their folding furniture. Brilliant.
